  • Anchor with T-bolts and nuts riding in groove
  • Spring-loaded T-slot nuts facilitate rapid installs

Numerous options exist for joining aluminum extrusions including:

  • Screw ports
  • Nut tracks
  • Snap fits
  • Corner gussets
  • Hinges
  • Interlocking joints
  • Welding/brazing
  • Structural adhesives

The modularity and interconnectivity of T-slot aluminum extrusions empower adaptable framing solutions for enclosures, workstations, partitions, and displays across industrial environments.

What Are T-Slot Aluminum Extrusion Profiles?

T-slot aluminum extrusions provide versatile framing solutions across industrial applications. As structural members, T-slot profiles leverage aluminum's inherent strength-to-weight benefits. The signature longitudinal slots simplify interconnections to build larger modular assemblies.

Common T-slot geometries include square, rectangular, or custom radius rectangles produced via aluminum extrusion processes. This flexibility of form enables T-slot sections to satisfy diverse mechanical requirements.

The longitudinal T-slots allow rapid linear positioning and anchoring of accessories anywhere along the aluminum extrusion length. This facilitates the toolless assembly of larger structures such as storage racks, work benches, equipment frames, and enclosure framing.

Doors, panels, shelves, conveyors, and other components are mounted onto the assembly by fastening into the continuous t-slot channels. The resulting aluminum-framed systems combine simplicity of reconfiguration with structural reliability across fluctuating environmental conditions.

Why Use T-Slot Aluminum Extrusion Profiles?

T-slot aluminum extrusion framing leverages continuous longitudinal channels to enable modular, tool-less assembly. The negative space t-slots built into the extrusion geometry allow interlocking components to slide into place along the length of aluminum profiles.

Once inserted into adjoining slots, complementary tabs, braces, and connectors anchor securely without welding or conventional fastening methods. This friction-fit modularity facilitates rapid reconfiguration and upgrades.

Nuts riding in the t-slot channels further strengthened assemblies when tightened down onto fixtures like plates, brackets, beams, and gussets. The combined mechanical anchoring provides structural integrity for large aluminum-framed equipment racks, workstations, partitions, and storage systems.

The simplicity of adding and repositioning secondary components makes t-slot aluminum profiles a versatile solution for design evolution across diverse commercial and industrial environments requiring flexibility.

How Do T-Slot Aluminum Extrusion Profiles Work?

T-slot aluminum extrusions achieve versatile, tool-less modularity through a simple interlocking geometry. Each extruded aluminum member contains continuous longitudinal T-shaped channels. Complementing components feature tabs and tips that seamlessly slide into these channels, anchoring firmly once fully inserted.

This endlessly expandable Lego-like connectivity enables aluminum structures to evolve, reconfigure, and customize on demand. T-slot framing systems leverage aluminum alloy benefits like high strength-to-weight ratio while eliminating conventional steel challenges like permanent welded fabrication. Installation, upgrades, and layout changes are straightforward with pre-threaded holes for immediate accessory mounts.

From industrial workstations to retail displays, the plug-and-play simplicity of T-slot aluminum extrusions empowers friction-fit modular framing adaptable across applications where rapid assembly, disassembly, and alterations provide value. The strength and longevity inherent in the extruded aluminum material ensure structural integrity and service life measured in decades in even harsh commercial environments.

I was first struck by how lightweight the brackets were. I was worried that the screws at this price would be made of flimsy metal, but I was pleasantly delighted to find out that they are of decent quality. Even though there was some casting residue, it was extremely simple to remove because the bracket's material is so pliable. Sometimes I'd believe one was set perfectly and tight only to find it loosen later with movement of the rest of the structure since they can be a bit tricky to get to sit in the groove. Therefore, the complete assembly had to be re-tightened numerous times before it was genuinely solid. Nevertheless, good product, and one of the few suppliers offering brackets for 1010 series at a...

Although it fits my 25/75 extrusion profile well, it is advertised as being for 20/20 extrusion profiles. The bolts are carbon steel, the sliding nuts are galvanized, and the brackets are cast aluminum (painted black, not anodized). That is, if you keep this outside, the hardware (or at least the bolts) will eventually rust on you. In my pictures, the cutoff extrusion profile is 2575, not a 20 series extrusion. Having said that, this also worked perfectly in a leftover 2020 that I had. This paint is in good condition. It is rather easy to scratch with a screwdriver, but you cannot scratch it with a fingernail or piece of plastic. I don't think that's a huge concern, but it's something to be mindful of. If you are unsure if this will fit your profile, please refer to my photographs for the sliding nut measurements. Because of the M5 hole and the nut's shape, you must insert it through the extrusion's open end. This cannot just be dropped someplace in the extrusion's center. It must be slid in from the

I required these brackets precisely because they allow two pieces of 20x20mm aluminum extrusion to be joined at a precise and robust 90-degree angle for my project. This product includes 20 corner brackets along with all the sliding nuts and screws required to utilise them. Although I don't need an extra washer because the screws have wide heads, it's nice to know that I may add one if I need more strength. The M5 Allen wrench that is included with the brackets is a great bonus, and the sliding nuts and screws are the same size. It guarantees that I have the appropriate tool for the job and greatly simplifies assembly. Overall, for anyone using 2020 aluminum extrusions, I suggest these extrusion corner brackets. They offer a sturdy and dependable connection between extrusion components and are well-made and user-friendly. For further jobs, I will most definitely be buying more of these brackets.
